On our many roadtrips around the United States, Gus Gus and Ipoo, our stuffed bear and giraffe, like to take their pictures at the state signs. This project started in 2006 and will continue until they have visited all fifty states. Here's their progress as of September 2011 (43 states and the District of Columbia):
What a fun and clever set of pictures! You make me smile. I found it interesting that the ONLY state that included the name of their governor was S.C.--Mark Sanford. Given the event surrounding him, it almost makes me wonder if that was his narcisistic doing. So--if you shoot me your most current address (who can keep track?) I shall send you a Christmas card. I really do love that tradition, even though so many have stopped sending them. Merry Christmas! Den
